Donna Woodard has joined JC Signs Charlotte in their Dilworth office.
Donna was born and raised in Gastonia so she is very familiar with the region. She has watched the Charlotte area grow from small corner businesses to the multi-million dollar business capital that it is today. She is keenly aware of the explosion of business signs and like her brother, Jeff Clayton (owner of JC Signs Charlotte), she is sensitive to the way signs impact our visual experience.
Donna began her new position as Project Manager in April 2017. Donna has a gift for making people feel comfortable and she enjoys interacting with customers. She exacts each project with a detailed list and is careful to take every measurement precisely. Donna describes her on-site customer visits as her very favorite part of her job. She loves to learn about her customers and enjoys going to their businesses.
Prior to working at JC Signs Charlotte, Donna drove a school bus for over 16 years. During her time with the school system she drove elementary, middle, and high school routes. Donna likes to say, “if you can drive a bus full of students, you can do anything.” Over these years she collected many memories and has plenty of funny stories to share with her grandkids.
Donna has been married to her wonderful husband for 43 years. They have one son and three grandchildren who live in Florida. Her grandkids are 16, 14, and 5 years-old. Despite the nine-hour trip, she loves to go down to Florida every chance she gets to visit with her family.
When Donna isn’t measuring signs or visiting her grandkids, she enjoys shopping around and hunting for good finds at flea markets and yard sales. She also really enjoys cooking, especially food to help satisfy her sweet tooth. Some of her favorite things to bake are cookies, brownies, and peanut butter balls. A few of her other hobbies include crocheting, cross stitching, and working in the yard.
If you are in the market for a new sign, give Donna a call. She will build a quick quote for you and walk you through the entire process.
