Recently, JC Signs celebrated our 5 year anniversary, and we continue to see tremendous growth. As Charlotte businesses continue to expand, the demand for quality business signs also rises. In order to keep up with our increasing clients and projects, JC Signs has brought John Tershel on board.
“This year has been one of our busiest,” explains Jeff Clayton, owner of JC Signs. “I needed to hire another project manager, so I turned to my good friend John Tershel.”
John Tershel is not new to the needs and demands of running a small business. In the late 1990s, John owned and operated a commercial audio/video company, selling and installing complex media technology and equipment in offices, universities, and other businesses. He went on to work in financial services, but was looking for a change when Jeff proposed the idea of working together.
“I have known John for over 5 years and he is our type of guy- creative, hardworking, and authentic,” says Jeff.
John Tershel is happy to be working with Jeff and the team at JC Signs. “I was looking for a new challenge in my career. I like that I never know what my day is going to look like.”
Business signs are a must for any business; it is how customers or potential customers find your business. But, there are a lot of moving parts to getting a sign made: design, fabrication, zoning, permits, and installation. JC Signs manages the whole process from the onsite survey to sign installation.
John says that he enjoys the variety that comes with the sign industry. The opportunity to be creative and work with new technologies has been a highlight of working at JC Signs. “But mostly I love creating genuine connections with our clients,” says John.
JC Signs is located in the Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte. We have created and installed signs throughout Charlotte and the surrounding area. We like to think of our clients as friends in our community and work hard to create personal relationships.
